Green Mountain Coffee (GMCR) stock has been targeted by a well known short seller, David Einhorn. GMCR has been dropping hard recently and is down about $33 from It's high, to $81
Green Mountain has reduced transparency and the company needs to improve disclosure, Einhorn, president of Greenlight Capital Inc., said today at the Value Investing Congress in New York. He said that Green Mountain declined to speak to him while citing a quiet period. The company has a “looming patent issue” on its single-serve K-Cups, he said.

If the sellers push this below the 200 day moving average, GMCR stock could really crack. Keep an eye on the $74-$76 area.

I think it dropped because of CEO said they expect a moderate growth speed. GMCR is the most expensive stock in food sector, and it can not keep this high price without a very fast growth rate.
