GMCR - Green Mountain Coffee
Green Mountain Coffee Roasters ( GMCR ) has finally won the bidding for Diedrich Coffee Inc. (DDRX). GMCR stock has come down 15% since the bidding began. The takeover of Diedrich will make Green Mountain a lot stronger.
GMCR is a strong buy in my book, and yes, I own the stock.

Wanted to get in this at close yesterday, and something was wrong with my computer (typical), and I couldn't buy...grrrrr. Anyway, do you think there is a chance of a pullback?

I think it would be a gift but If you can get in below $75 it would be a steal. This company has new Keurig machines coming out in the 3rd quarter and has partnered with Mr Coffee.
The growth is the K-Cups which must be licensed.....not anyone can just make and sell them. The aquisition of DDRX was huge because they were licensed to package and sell their own K-Cups.

Its hard not to panic and jump in when I see it going up...especially because I've been waiting to get it :/ Of course I don't want to get in and it drop, so I'll just keep watching it and pray for a pullback :) Thanks for the info!

Yea I don't like to chase stocks either.......the good thing about GMCR today is the fact that the stock market is getting hammered but the stock remains near It's high of day

any thoughts on this now? I haven't been following coffee stocks at all. This seems to have pulled back very hard in the last month and the downside risk seems small compared to the upside potential. Thoughts? I'm looking to maybe get into this if the sector isn't crashing and nflx as well.
