iPad or Windows 7 tablet
I know this is completely off topic but we have a lot of smart people here. I am looking at either and iPad or a Windows tablet. For the tablets I like

What I want to do is to be able to trade from the machine and the primary thing to have for that are good charts. So I guess the questions are quite simple...
Are there enough good apps out there that I can use to make the iPad do what I want it do to do and as far as the windows tablets go has anyone had any experience with them because the reviews look good or should I wait for windows 8 to buy that type of tablet

or if you don't like to buy apple products I advice you to buy an Android-based tablet instead a new windows 8 product.
however iPad, in my opinion, is the best tablet for work-use, from multi-touch usability to battery life.

Rob you know my answer already. I love the iPad, but I know you want windows. The iPad is super fast, very light, and very simple to use.
I dont use it for work only play but I can't say one bad thing about it.

Rob, as you are probably already aware, the Samsung Series 7 Slate tablets that you refer to above are not your typical android tablets, but are laptop replacements when considering the power and capabilities- iPad doesn't even come close.
That said, to answer your question, there ARE enough good apps out there for the iPad that should sufficiently satisfy your trading needs.
Personally, I am waiting for the iPad 3. Rumor has it that they will be available sometime in MAR-APR time frame though they are pushing hard to release it on Feb 24th in honor of Steve Jobs; that's his birthday.

Rob, if you dont want to learn anything then buy ipad 3 in Feb. My 2 year old daughter knows how to operate her ipad 2. I never taught her anything and she knows how to go to youtube.com in order to play her songs. Also she plays Angry birds better than me. lol. She knows lot of stuffs that I never figured out.
I personally like Android based tablets because I love them. I feel like iPads are for kids.

i ended up with the samsung series 7 slate and this is very nice. small like the ipad and all touch screen and runs everything my laptop does
