Hi, TIm what do you think is the resistance for this stock ? Is now a good entry point. Thanks
I'm not a big fan of PEIX but that doesn't mean it can't go higher.  Resistance is around $0.48 and $0.55
Thanks, Tim!
moving up after-hours. i have seen stocks like this one move up with huge gains especially when people were expecting bad earnings and the earnings turn out to be positive like on PEIX. (volume already over 400K after-hours). this stock can be a huge gainer tomorrow. (it will be interesting to see).
moving up after-hours with strong volume to .47!!

Pacific Ethanol, Inc. (NASDAQ: PEIX) reported excellent earnings!! Reported Q1 EPS of $0.00, versus ($0.20) reported last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at $173.15 million, versus $71.29 million reported last year.

Balance Sheet Improvements: Shareholder Equity Rose this Quarter

Cash: virtually unchanged.
Accounts Receivable: Jumped up
Total assets: Jumped Up
Total debt: declined
Shareholder equity : Jumped up!
Excellent Quarter!!!!

Hats off to management....turnaround for PEIX is spectacular!

This stock was at mid .70's before the slow bleed down to .38 .39 cents. Record revenue. Break even quarter during a quarter where corn prices were extremely high. Corn prices correcting for the second quarter. Possible plant opening. Possible buyout. Gasoline now with .15 percent ethanol mixture. The writing is on the wall if corn costs keep declining and ethanol prices remain stable. They are gonna have a nice profit for the second quarter which could propel this stock over 1.00 Why would you sell this in the mid .40's when there is huge upside potential of possibly doubling your investment from here if you got in at these prices. This stock in the next few weeks should at least creep back to the mid .70's where it was at before it's decline to this level. As we see with the earnings things are good

Hi all,

what are thoughts about BIOF. They released the earnings also yesterday, but it wasn´t that smashing call as PEIX did. what do you think?

I don't like BIOF. PEIX is the better play and the management has done a great job cutting the costs and turning this company around!!
their way from top to the bottom is quite similar...
PEIX JUST HIT A NEW HIGH @ .49 WITH STRONG VOLUME THIS MORNING (100K)!!
