Stock Screener April 13, 2010
This is a running discussion where we can share things we see jumping for either a daytrade or a swing trade.
I have a screener that really helps finding daytrade opportunities. It finds which stocks will, by the end of the day, be trading at at least two times its 30 day average volume. I look for stocks that really are jumping on volume (and hopefully news) and then employ Tim's breaking the HOD plan. I put my reverse Fibonacci retracement on these and just wait. I will post what I find jumping when it shows on the screener.
I will also post what I think may be swing trade opportunities.
Every morning you can go to Tim's Daily Pre Market Gainers (link top of page) to see what is jumping

@ Reagan...hahaha...I think everyone knows I like PCX...and JRCC, I believe it was MD that likes YZC...the thing about coal, it's listed under "Basic Materials" such as Gold, Silver, Mining stocks, Fertilizer, etc. They have a tendency to go up, when the $$ is down and oil is up. Oil is "down" from $113.00, but still up, so check to see if the $ is down, oil is up...PCX had quite a run-up, they pulled back a bit. Not sure of a good entry point at this time. Sorry..probably not much help, Rob can give you support and resistance...

Guys, SIFY just exploded its at 5.45, I have been watching it for a while, I think it could keep running, I bought in a few weeks ago at 3.25, and again at 4.74.
