Stock Screener March 17, 2010
This is a running discussion where we can share things we see jumping for either a daytrade or a swing trade.
I have a screener that really helps finding daytrade opportunities. It finds which stocks will, by the end of the day, be trading at at least two times its 30 day average volume. I look for stocks that really are jumping on volume (and hopefully news) and then employ Tim's breaking the HOD plan. I put my reverse Fibonacci retracement on these and just wait. I will post what I find jumping when it shows on the screener.
I will also post what I think may be swing trade opportunities.
Every morning you can go to Tim's blog page (link on top of page that says stock blog) where he posts pre market movers

The volume is the largest in its history today. I'm ready to play a move either way.

Yea, I had to close my short on CAGC but I still made good money. I believe that tomorrow is crucial. A gap up is a buy signal, a gap down a short signal.

Kelvin, site is about 60%
It is really nothing like this site - no alerts like we do here
Geared to beginners and those who don't have time or tools to do their own technical analysis
Members area will have all my learning videos (30-50 of them) on how to trade a ton of indicators. I will do TA on request with pics. and a small forum area where people can ask questions

Rob, I know you said you liked the daily chart on GLW and were going to hold. How long do you intend to hold it? Do you think it will gap up or break19.05?

Rob, I haven't checked your website yet, sorry. I will though. I have had to be away on and off, and I won't be here tomorrow either. It's options expiration this week, so might be volatile. I definitely want to check it out.
