Stocks To Buy Forum

Stocks to Buy Today - Stock Message Board, Discussion Forum, Blog

This is a running discussion where we can share things we see jumping for either a daytrade or a swing trade.
I have a screener that really helps finding daytrade opportunities. It finds which stocks will, by the end of the day, be trading at at least two times its 30 day average volume. I look for stocks that really are jumping on volume (and hopefully news) and then employ Tim's breaking the HOD plan. I put my reverse Fibonacci retracement on these and just wait. I will post what I find jumping when it shows on the screener.
I will also post what I think may be swing trade opportunities.

Every morning you can go to Tim's Daily Pre Market Gainers (link top of page) to see what is jumping.

Aha thanks for your input Sue.

Have to look into what the next big play would be.

Sweet some links, I'm sitting in the hospital definitely can look at them. I'm using my phone to tether and watch one of Rob's videos but its taking so long to load up lol.

Jason, sorry for the delay....to answer your question, no I don't....I don't buy lumber stocks.  I would think that first off they will need large equipment to clear out the debris from the quake and Tsunami, but due to the large amount of earthquake activity in the area, I believe (check this out) that steel or stronger building materials like steel, other than wood, would be their primary import.
