Stocks to Watch 8/8/11 August 8, 2011
This is a running discussion where we can share things we see jumping for either a daytrade or a swing trade.
I have a screener that really helps finding daytrade opportunities. It finds which stocks will, by the end of the day, be trading at at least two times its 30 day average volume. I look for stocks that really are jumping on volume (and hopefully news) and then employ Tim's breaking the HOD plan. I put my reverse Fibonacci retracement on these and just wait. I will post what I find jumping when it shows on the screener.
I will also post what I think may be swing trade opportunities.
Every morning you can go to Tim's Daily Pre Market Gainers ( Right Here ) to see what is jumping

Kyle, we just broke through another support threshold. So continue to be extremely cautious. I don't think today was the bottom.

Okay, the Dow is down over 600pts. I think the only solution now is for Bernanke to announce that this entire crash has been a joke, and everyone's money will be returned...

Some of these stocks are so unbelievably cheap...not having recovered fully from 08-09 til now, and now dropping so much, I will probably take some positions tomm as well. I picked up some CAT today at about -500 DOW , probably get AAPL or a solid tech tomm. Avg down if worse comes to worse...but the upside here is HUGE being as all these stocks are discounted off their discount haha

@Amanda I agree. I'm gonna watch it for another day and probably buy a large portion tomorrow. Its solid and should bounce back.
